February & March Projects
I finished the Clowning Around quilt, a one block wonder quilt! I used the this quilt as an opportunity to practice and develop a new quilting pattern. By the end of it, I found a great series of motifs were possible borrowing a couple ideas from another blog I visit.
Sharon benefits from this practice, however, on her Log Cabin quilt!
For the remainder of 2010, I am offering a special on simple stippling for your quilt tops. Medium or large stipples will be 1 cent per square inch! If you want to get more of your quilt tops finished without breaking the bank, drop me a note!

Lizzie and Me
I am a long arm quilter, working with a Tin Lizzie 18 LS since March 2008. I have been quilting other people's quilts for several years on a Viking 400 using the old layer-and-pin-and-shove-it-through-the-7-inch-throat method. With practice, this can create some very beautiful results and gives you a great upper-body workout! However, there are limitations and I felt it was time to start a business and to take the step to upgrade to a professional machine...a baby step since it's a less expensive machine, but still.... Some day I hope I can get a big machine like an A-1 or a Millenium, but until then, it's just me and Lizzie.
